Thomas has been through it himself. Treatment, recovery, and the long stretch of hours in between where no real support existed. Zeno was born from that gap — and from the belief that it shouldn't have to be that way.

Building the app that should have existed
Zeno was born from a simple but urgent question: why is getting help with addiction still so hard? Most tools are clinical and cold, preachy and disconnected, or simply not built for the way people actually experience recovery.
Thomas set out to build something different: an app that feels like a trusted friend who has done the work — because he has. Direct. Honest. Warm. An app that meets people exactly where they are, without judgment, without a waiting room.
As the face of Zeno, Thomas personally appears in video content throughout the app, walking users through the psychology of addiction in plain language. Not lectures. Conversations. In his own words, on their own time.
Together with his team, Thomas is building the recovery companion he believes the world needs. Starting in the Netherlands, with an eye on everyone who has ever been let down by the systems meant to help them.
